The special design of this Flowlogic® Type-A™ casting crucible ensures a faster, smoother and more direct metal flow into the flask. This allows you to achieve denser castings and a more complete fill. Higher-grade C-50 graphite crucibles stand up to the high production rigors of the Neutec® 510 and 515 casting machines. Created using isostatic pressure, a process that makes the crucible significantly more dense and therefore less absorptive, this crucible is ideal for working with white gold and high-karat yellow gold (18-karat and higher). The denser graphite stands up better to their solvent characteristics to deliver a longer service life when used with these metals. Graphite crucibles help scavenge any remaining oxygen from your melt, reducing oxidation of the metal and delivering cleaner pours and finer after-cast surfaces.
