This Dedeco® Sunburst® 1/2" x 1/2" diameter, 36-grit, brown finishing band is great for polishing, providing a uniform finish while protecting detailMost applications can be performed between 3,000rpm and 18,000rpm. Use the band at 3,000rpm to have greater flexibility with a softer touch, producing subtle results. Operate it at 18,000rpm for more aggressive material removal. Use Sunburst® sanding bands in a coarse-to-fine grit order progression to easily achieve your desired finish. This band should be used with an expanding drum arbor mandrel (available separately). Dedeco® Sunburst® sanding bands are impregnated with an aluminum oxide abrasive that delivers faster results and a longer life and require no polishing compound.
