Flat and Round-Nose Forming Pliers

These forming pliers offer one flat and one round jaw and are ideal for creating bends in wire or flat stock. Bend the wire against the flat jaw to create wider, broader bends or to make angled bends; form the wire around the round jaw to make loops, jump rings, coils and sharper curves. Forming pliers have a variety of jaw configurations designed to maximize the ability to bend, shape or form wire, strip and sheet. Use these pliers to bend ring shanks, shape earring wires and construct intricate and precise fabrications from sheet and wire. • The lap joint is strong and precisely aligned. In a lap joint, one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a pivot is set through both halves.
• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each handle, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed.
