Fretz® F-103 Large Doming Forming Stake

This specially designed large doming forming stake from Fretz® is perfect for doming flat sheet metal and for forging heavy metal stock to create convex or concave shapes. The stake offers different curvatures at each end; by working the metal on different areas of the stake, you are able to achieve just about any shape you need and can easily control the shape and dimension of the metal. Set the stake in a Fretz H-101 or VH-101 holder for secure hold during your forming work. Designed by Bill Fretz, full-size stakes are specially created for shaping and forming jewelry and hollowware pieces such as bangles and cuff bracelets, neckpieces and small vessels that require the larger surfaces and edges. The variety of shapes and sizes of these stakes allow you to precisely form your designs by stretching the metal. Stakes are made from 420-grade stainless steel and working surfaces are highly polished and beautifully finished.
