This convex fluting “finish” cuff-forming stake from Fretz® is one of two progressively designed styles available; used in tandem, they streamline the process of forming narrow fluted cuff bracelets and bangle bracelets. This stakes features a sharper pitch to enhance the final formation of the flute you're creating; use it after you’ve used the “start” stake to establish the beginning of your flute. This stake is also a basic stake for creating thin convex flutes for small hollowware pieces. Stakes provide a surface under (or inside) the metal that enhances the work of the hammer in creating a wide variety of curves, folds and shapes.
