German Heavy-Duty Shears

These 8" heavy-duty shears feature a smooth cutting action ideal for cutting straight lines or wider curves in sheet up to 20 gauge (.032"). The jaws on these pliers is smooth, delivering a clean, precise cut. Shears operate like scissors, with blades that smoothly bypass one another as they cut, but have a more robust construction ideal for cutting metal sheet. Straight-blade shears are perfect for cutting fine, straight lines. A built-in locking mechanism holds the shear closed when not in use for safe storage and transport. To lock, hold the shears closed and rotate the knurl-edged lock upward into the notch in the side of the shear. Made in Germany, these shears have 54-64 Rockwell hardness.
