Legor® Casting Yellow Master Alloy for 18K, Y142W
Formulated by Legor® Group, this yellow master alloy is intended for lost-wax casting; it delivers a rich yellow color in 18-karat gold and very good plastic deformability, making it an excellent choice for mechanical working applications and machine- and hand-made chain. This alloy produces great results in sheet for stamping and cutting with good solderability; it can also be used for TIG-soldered tubing. It hardens well with heat-treating. A master alloy casting grain is a pre-formulated mix of base-metal elements; add the appropriate amount of precious metal grain to the master alloy to create the casting alloy you need.
