Precise, Adaptible OpticsThe wide magnification range (5X–30X) offers an optimal view of minute work areas and larger pieces. This kit includes a 0.63X objective lens and aluminum adapter developed by GRS®, letting you increase the zoom ratio to 6:1 without having to stop and refocus. The generous working distance, 6.1" (155mm), and object field size, 1.8" (46mm), allows freedom of movement and accommodates a variety of tools. The diffuser accessory reduces glare when working with reflective surfaces. The diffuser and ring lamp fit over the microscope lens to provide uniform, neutral light. The dimmable, energy-efficient LED bulbs feature their own focus lenses for consistent brightness. An interchangeable glass shield protects the optics from potentially damaging fumes. Comfortable Controls and Positioning The 38° viewing angle approximates the head posture that is natural to most people. The zoom and focus controls are easy to reach and the controls for the illuminator are accessible to left- and right-handed users. The headrest kit attaches to the microscope stand, with a curved support for the operator’s forehead to reduce neck and back strain. The A60 fits into the Acrobat® Versa articulating stand, which allows you to quickly position the microscope or swing it out of the way. The arms of the stand move with adjustable friction or can be locked in place for stability. Secure the base of the stand to your bench or work surface using four screws (not included).
