Midas® liver of sulfur helps you achieve an eye-catching contrast on your jewelry designs; against a bright or matte finish on jewelry metals, the dark patina highlights details and emphasizes contours. Liver of sulfur is one of the most effective oxidizers for silver and copper and works best producing a smooth, black finish, when either it (or the workpiece) is hot. After oxidizing, protect the finish by sealing the jewelry piece using Renaissance wax, lacquer or other sealant. To mix, add 0.5g of lump liver of sulfur to 6 oz. of clean water.
