Xuron® 17011F Micro-Shear Flush Cutters with Retainer

These precise flush cutters are made for more delicate applications; they cut bead cord, including Beadalon® Tigertail, and also handle French wire neatly, so are ideal for bead stringing. A handy retainer on the upper jaw catches and holds the cut piece of cord or wire to keep it from flying off. The straight-blade cutter is effective for standard, light-duty uses. A dark matte finish prevents eye strain caused by reflective glare and increases visibility of the workpiece.

• These cutters have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves, allowing the joint to be adjusted as needed.
• Molded plastic, non-slip grips and a gentle return spring ensure comfort and security during use, even over extended work periods. Xuron® cutters are made from induction-hardened tool steel for exceptionally long service. Precisely ground jaws ensure accuracy and control. These cutters are constructed from forged tool steel, which is work-hardened as the metal is compressed and shaped and tempered to prevent brittleness; forging offers the best combination of strength and durability. The jaws will not be nicked or misshapen with normal use. Clean with Cosmoline® or a similar protectant; avoid contact with moisture.
